I'm interested in becoming a sailplane pilot. All the pilots I talked to at the SSA convention in Atlanta really like your site and complemented on how accurate your data is.

Aircraft is HK36R Motorglider so it did not really fit choices. Am director of COPA, and RAA in Canada. I am new to your service and it is a steep learning curve to use the system effectively. I am a highly experienced test pilot - but of course, the soaring data you provide is a new challenge for me. Thanks kindly for the service. Feel free to contact me for any further input. Yours truly, Ken Armstonng

Extremely valuable for flight planning, and I value the new ETA "long-range" forecast (the extra day for me is long...) I've visited after learning of it from the Williams Newsgroup. I use Thermal strength and BL height parameters plus the Blipspot for launch timing and day of flight task planning.

269 =========== Paul Summerskill *AT* St. Catharines, Ontario
My research outlining the correlation between (W*) and raptor migration is dependent on the daily accessing of Blipmaps during spring and fall raptor migration within the U.S.A. and southern Canada. The Hawk Migration Association of North America has made my study available through a link on their home page to it's 1,200 members, the general public and its hundred and more hawk-watch sites situated throughout North America. My study is also available on my website.

I appreciate your efforts. I think Blipmaps are a good predictor, but believe it underestimates lift rate and top of usable lift. Still, I look at the thermal prediction every time I go flying.

Your work is extremely valuable to the flying community. Thank you for all you do. I heard a rumor that you may be incorporating a wave prediction into your BLIPMAP. If that is true, it would be great. We fly wave in the winter at Crazy Creek.

362 =========== Milton Hare *AT* Williams, CA
Because I am unable to fly much these days, I try not to look at BLIPMAP to avoid depression. If it looks really good out my window I generally can't help it and take a look to see what I'm missing. I also help friends with BLIPMAP forecasts even if I'm not flying myself.

381 =========== Ben Rogers *AT* hernandez
excellent site. Very accurate. I would volunteer to help devise a more detailed blip of the Hollister area (+100 miles each way) if that was possible.
